The Lean Challenge:
Adding value and competitive advantage by removing waste throughout the manufacturing process.
The Six Sigma Challenge:
Sustaining Quality.
Success requires committed leadership and a well-led, well-trained workforce with clear objectives. It also requires a concentration on productivity improvement, primarily by way of maximizing the availability of equipment. The foundation for an efficient factory is smooth running machinery, where all efficiency improvement methods aim to improve productivity and reduce losses.
It also means developing networks, protocols, procurement and inventory standards that support and enable a company’s strategies. When those strategies enable efficiency in an environment of high uncertainty, then costs drop, quality improves, cycle times shorten, and productivity rises.
This is the goal of our M3 program.
